Hi to All;
Sorry I haven't been able to send more e-mails and pics, but I either don't have time, no access to a computer or in some cases the operating systems can't handle the pics. In any event we are in Ignace, Ontario. We have covered 3 provinces but Ontario alone is about half the trip. We are keeping a pretty swift schedule doing about 90 to 100 miles every day. After a while you seem to just get into the routine and it doesn't seem too hard. We will be in Thunder Bay, Ontario Monday. Joe Boggs: We rode through Dryden today and the paper mill was the first thing I saw as the town came into view.
This will do for now and I look forward to finishing and coming home.
Take care
Stan

Hi to all;
Just another update on the journey. We rode out of Calgary on Sunday and today is Thursday which is our second day off. The first off day was for me to get over a stomach/intestinal virus and today is to assess Bo's ankle injury. Don't know at the moment just how all this is going to turn out. In any event we rode 94 miles Sunday, 98 miles Monday, 140 miles Wednesday and 105 yesterday with awful headwinds. Tomorrow is only about 50 miles.
I will hopefully get more pics on the way soon.
Take care Stan
(Please note: Cross Country Stan's travelling companions on this tour are Bo Martin from Jonesboro, GA and Bob Weber of Waterloo, Ont. Per Shirley's report (Stan's wife), the group is in Moose Jaw tonight (Thursday, June 2, 2011) - Zeke.

Our good friend and riding companion Stan "Cross Country" Rathbone has started this year's cross country sojourn. Following last year's ride from San Diego to St. Augustine, Stan is riding a more northerly route this year. He is headed home from Banff National Park was we speak. He will, from time to time, drop some photos on me and I'll upload them with his notes of the journey. Check back in as we answer the question, "Where in the world is Cross Country Stan?

Lunch along the way. Cross Country Stan was apparently in a "red" mood on this day!
